Hi, thanks for visiting Vegan Life, I’d like to make you feel right at home.
I went vegan in July 2017 after reading The Starch Solution by John McDougall.
I had stopped eating meat for a couple of weeks prior to that. No “reason” as such, I just felt like it.
It’s a funny thing, when you stop eating animal products. You can suddenly allow yourself to realise what you’ve actually been doing all of these years.
I used to be a devout omnivore. A paleo enthusiast, a Weston Price devotee.
How that’s changed.
There’s plenty more can be said about my journey, but I’ll do that in the blog. I just want to provide some of the kind of writing which might have made me see the light ten or twenty years ago.
WHY I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE
I’d like to communicate with non-vegans who are curious about veganism. Maybe something in them is nudging them towards the life and they’re looking for a little encouragement.
I’d like to write for existing vegans, helping them with doubts and struggles, sharing tips and tricks and hints and recipes and so on.
Veganism is an important movement. I can’t think of a more directly compassionate way of living and thinking. Promoting it is an honour.
THE GOAL OF THIS SITE
To celebrate human life and animal life, to promote ways of eating and living which are not cruel.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
